Sandwell Park Farm & Museum Animation Case Study
The Project

Snap Animation worked with Sandwell Borough Council, providing a number of installations for their new bee trail at Sandwell Park Farm and museum, aimed at educating and informing people about the history of the estate and surrounding grounds. As the museum has it's own apiary, it made perfect sense to use a bee as a tour guide, showing points of interest visitors can explore.

In addition to the bee trail animation, we also providing supporting content for the types of characters you might see on the estate, from black smiths to noblemen, giving a window into the lives of the people living in various points of history.

The Outcome

Overall, the installations were well received by visitors, who loved family friendly characters, which added a light-hearted and fun element to the museum's environment. With the displays and information coming to life with animation the engagement and dwell time increased, showing how visual content can really help enhance the experience for audiences.
